  • Suicidal Tendencies

Suicidal Tendencies were the fathers of crossover thrash. Part of Southern California’s early-‘80s hardcore punk scene, they broke into the mainstream in 1983 with their self-titled debut – its single “Institutionalized” becoming one of the first hardcore punk videos to receive substantial airplay on both MTV and KROQ. By the ‘90s, they had earned themselves a metal crowd, as well as another MTV hit with “You Can’t Bring Me Down” off the album Lights, Camera, Revolution. Now with founder Mike Muir as the only remaining member, Suicidal Tendencies will release their first album of all-new material in 12 years in 2012.
