The Black Album (Metallica)
More commonly known as the Black Album, the album Metallica is the fifth studio album to be released by the band Metallica. It was released on 12 August 1991 through the Elektra Records label. The album itself features some of the bands most popular songs, and it spent four weeks at the top of the Billboard 200. It is the band’s highest selling album to date having sold over 22 million copies throughout the world. It was recorded during October 1990 to June 1991 at the One-On-One studios in LA.
