Dirty Work
Dirty Work was released by the Rolling Stones in March 1986 as the band’s 18th studio album.
The recordings took place in a seven week period in 1985 and the album featured the hit single “Harlem Shuffle, along with the other singles “One Hit to the Body, and Winning Ugly.” Dirty Work reached number 4 on the charts in the UK and US.The album features numerous guests such as Tom Waits, Jimmy Page, Patti Scialfa, Ivan Neville, Jimmy Cliff, Beverly D’Angelo, and Bobby Womack. It was originally released on the Rolling Stones/Virgin label by CBS and remastered and reissued on Virgin in 1994. It featured Billy Preston, Nicky Hopkins, Ian Stewart, and Bobby Keys and was produced by Steve Lilywhite and the Glimmer Twins (Jagger and Richards).
