Aftermath
Aftermath was the first Rolling Stones album recorded in stereo and in America. It was their fourth British and sixth US studio album and was their first to feature Mick Jagger/Keith Richards songs exclusively. Popular songs include Lady Jane, Out of Time, Mothers Little Helper, Under My Thumb, and Take it or Leave it.” Different versions were released in the UK and the US. The UK version came out in April 1966 and the US version was released in June. The US edition had a different cover and didn’t have the songs “Out of Time, Take It or Leave It, What to Do, and Mother’s Little Helper, but did add “Paint it Black.” The album was produced by Andrew Loog Oldham and was released by Decca/ABKCO in the UK and London/ABKCO in the US.
