The Wall
The Wall is an album by the English progressive rock band Pink Floyd and was presented as a double feature. The Wall is described as a rock opera and was released in 1979 and became well known for its live performances and elaborate stage effects which were later turned into a film. The rock opera itself centres on a character called Pink and is loosely based on Roger Waters own personal life. The Wall reached number 87 in the Rolling Stone magazine 500 greatest albums of all time in 2003 and produced one of the iconic rock anthems of today Another Brick in the Wall.
