    • The 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration

    What a treat when the live double album “The 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration” was released in 1993.  Recorded at Madison Square Garden in October of 1992, this concert was obviously put into place to recognize one of the greatest writers and singers of all time and to celebrate his 30 years as a recording artist.  This album has most of the songs from the concert, many of which are classic early day songs written by Dylan but sung by various artists.  Of course the album wouldn’t be complete with Bob Dylan himself ending the last three songs.  There is everything you could want on this album with greats like John Mellencamp singing “Like a Rolling Stone” and Tracy Chapman singing “The Times They Are A-Changin’.”  From Eric Clapton to The O’Jays, this is a perfect celebration of the musical career of Bob Dylan.
