Indie/Alternative
Alternative Rock is a very broad term referring to bands that weren’t as mainstream as the big-time rock musicians of the time. Many of the greatest rock musicians of the past 20 years have been in the alternative rock scene. Alternative rock continues to evolve today, although the term “indie” seems to be used more often.
