Changestwobowie
Released in 1981, “Changestwobowie” was another great compilation album put out by RCA Records. Following the format of the “Changesonebowie” album that was released in 1976, it contained several tracks from Bowie’s earlier career that did not appear on “Changesonebowie.” This included songs “Oh! You Pretty Things” and “Ashes to Ashes” to name but a few. Overall, Changestwobowie was well received by critics, although not as well received by fans who at that point were listening to newer music that the rocker was putting out. This is one of the rarer albums because of the issues between RCA and Bowie later on. In 1985 it was deleted from the catalog put out by RCA and never reissued, so the vinyl versions of “Changestwobowie” are some of the few that are actually available. A great collector’s item, this album has some of his best earlier songs.
