The Four Tops
The Four Tops, one of the most popular doo-wop, jazz, soul, R&B, disco and adult contemporary acts in the world, remained together for over four decades. They were among an elite group of musicians that helped to define the Motown Sound in the 1960’s. Notable because they had a distinctive sound with a baritone as their lead singer they made numerous hits including “I Can’t Help Myself” and “Reach Out I’ll Be There.” Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990, The Four Tops will always be recognizable for their contribution to Motown and their amazing sounds which you can hear on vinyl.
