Donna Summer has had an unbelievable career. As a singer and songwriter she not only gained notoriety for her prominence during the disco era, but as a singer who has had over four decades of hits. Although disco was what she was most known for, Donna Summer also sings contemporary R&B music, rock, mainstream pop and gospel. She is one of the most successful female recording artists of the 70’s and 80’s and just continues to gain the love of her fans with every song she comes out with. As the first female artist to have four number one singles in a 12 month period of time, Donna Summer is known for songs such as “Love to Love You, Baby,” “Bad Girls,” and “Hot Stuff.” Still doing choice concerts now, Donna Summer will always be remembered for how great she sounds on vinyl.
