Doo Bop
Doo-Bop was the jazz musician Miles Davis’s last studio album and it marked the beginning of Miles Davis’s transformation to more hip-hop orientated music. Unfortunately, Miles Davis died on 28 September 1991 before the album was actually finished. At this time only six tracks had been finished so producer Easy Mo Bee took some of the unreleased performances from Miles Davis and produced tracks that the artist would have loved. The album Doo-Bop was released Under Warner Bros Records in June 1992 and received mixed reviews after its release. The album won a Grammy for Best R&B Instrumental Performance in 1993.
