Trane’s Blues
Trane’s Blues is an album by legendary jazz musician John Coltrane. The album is a compilation of the artist’s blue note sessions, songs from the Blue Train album, A Blowin’ Session, and the Whims of Chambers album. It is a compilation disc in which each of the eight selections is taken from different LP’s released during the 50’s. Contrary to what the title suggests, the tracks on this album are not particularly bluesy. Instead, most of the songs are upbeat and happy, which makes for a pleasant listening experience. This album can be considered a must have for fans of Coltrane or jazz music in general.
