Live at the Village Vanguard Again!
Recorded in May of 1966, Live at the Village Vanguard Again!, is an album by jazz musician John Coltrane. Only three songs are featured on the album. Out of the three songs featured, Introduction to My Favorite Things (a bass solo by Jimmy Garrison) is the only one that was not previously released. In this album John Coltrane plays in the improvisational style that is characteristic of his final recordings. He and Pharoah Sanders, who plays flute and tenor saxophone, add a lot to the album’s unique style; however their musical chemistry far outshines
what they have with the other band members.
