    Al DiMeola has been a highly influential jazz guitarist, with his career spanning over three decades. He first rose to prominence in the late 1970’s playing with Chick Corea, John McLaughlin and Paco DeLucia. His 70’s work is more shred, while his later career has more relaxed tunes. There is definitely some great music to be had on these records.

    Recommendations from Alan:
    Live in San Francisco – AWESOME live flamenco album. Highly recommended for guitar music lovers.
    Elegant Gypsy/Casino – Lots of shredding, but some slow stuff too. Both are very good.
