Jim Croce
Jim Croce was a singer-songwriter in the ‘60s and ‘70s who achieved commercial success with his 1972 album, You Don’t Mess Around with Jim, and the number-one hit “Time in a Bottle.” Croce kept the momentum going with 1973’s Life and Times, which produced another number one in “Bad, Bad Leroy Brown.” As his life was tragically cut short by a plane crash, Croce only released a handful of albums, but his legacy lives on in his oft-covered catalog. There is a rare form of honesty in his storytelling that translates gorgeously to vinyl.
