Monty Python is the collective name of the six creators of “Monty Python’s Flying Circus” which was a hugely popular British television comedy sketch show that first aired in 1969. Spawning from the show, Monty Python went on to do five films, several albums, books, a stage musical and stage tours. Pushing the boundaries of what was considered acceptable at the time, Monty Python still has a huge following today. Their comedy albums are great to listen to on vinyl and include such popular ones as “Another Monty Python Record” and “Monty Python Live at Drury Lane.”
