Maurice Ravel, a Basque French composer and pianist, was known for the richness in his work of melodies, orchestral and instrumental textures and effects. He was a staple of concert repertoire with his piano, orchestral, vocal and chamber music. Maurice Ravel had many notable compositions such as Jeax d’eau and Daphnis et Chloe that sound very effective on vinyl. His best known piece, Bolero, is one that is still listened to on vinyl today.
