As one of the most popular rock bands of all time, Chicago began as a politically charged rock band in 1967 but over time has become famous for their softer sounds and number one ballads. With a steady stream of hits such as “25 or 6 to 4,” “Hard to Say I’m Sorry,” and “You’re the Inspiration” Chicago is a multi-Grammy award winner. Despite the changes in singers over the years, Chicago has been in the spotlight for four decades and is one of the few major rock groups that has never broken up or even taken an extended hiatus. Four the six founding members still remain to this day and together with various singers, have continued making music that still tops the charts. To hear the best of their music you can listen to “Chicago’s Greatest Hits” album which still warms the heart when you hear it on vinyl.
