Carl Maria von Weber

Known as one of the first significant composers of the Romantic school, Carl Maria Friedrich Ernst von Weber was an astounding German composer, conductor, pianist, guitarist and critic. Carl Maria von Weber was greatly known for his operas, especially Euryanthe and Oberon which definitely influenced the development of the Romantic opera in Germany. As well, he was an innovative composer of instrumental music which can be heard on vinyl. His compositions for the clarinet are still performed today and are highly recognizable. With his contribution to vocal and choral music as well as his highly influential operas, you only have to hear his music on vinyl to hear how talented he is.
