    Jimmy Eat World is an alternative rock band from Mesa, Arizona that formed in 1993 and gained popularity throughout the decade. Evolving its sound from punk-rock to emo-core, the band had its first major breakthrough with 1999’s Clarity, then topped the charts with the infectious single “The Middle” off of its 2001 power-pop follow-up, Bleed American. Jimmy Eat World has released seven albums to date and is oh-so awesome on vinyl.
