    George Harrison, “the quiet Beatle” known for his lyrical guitar playing and love of the sitar, ended up having one of the most successful solo careers out of all his former bandmates. He had written a number of Beatles classics – “Here Comes the Sun,” “Something,” “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” – and by the time the band broke up, still had enough unreleased solo material for the triple Phil Spector-produced album All Things Must Pass (1970), including the chart-topper “My Sweet Lord.” Harrison then went on to organize rock’s first major charity event, the Concert for Bangladesh, in 1971, which yielded another triple album, and he formed the supergroup the Traveling Wilburys in 1988 with Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, and Jeff Lynne, releasing two albums with them.
