    While the Beatles were gaining popularity in U.K., Golden Earring was topping the charts in its home country of the Netherlands. Formed in the Hague in 1961, this Dutch hard-rock band is one of the longest running rock bands in the world and has impressively had the same line-up since 1970. Thanks to international hits “Radar Love” (off of 1973’s Moontan album), “Twilight Zone,” and “When the Lady Smiles,” Golden Earring has sold millions of albums worldwide. Known for its explosive live shows, the band also has some phenomenal live albums in its massive catalog.
