The Bangles
The Bangles are an all-female pop group that rose to fame in the ‘80s. They enjoyed several hits during that decade including “Walk Like an Egyptian,” the Prince-penned “Manic Monday,” their cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s “Hazy Shade of Winter,” and the ballad “Eternal Flame.” Stemming from Los Angeles’ Paisley Underground music scene, the Bangles combined ‘60s-inspired folk-rock with some British Invasion guitar jangle, a bit of New Wave energy, and sunny SoCal vocal harmonies for a sound that is nothing short of incredible on vinyl.
