Bryan Adams
This Canadian rocker has sold more than 65 million albums worldwide, garnered 21 Top-10 hits including “Summer of ‘69” and “(Everything I Do) I Do It for You,” and earned a ton of awards including 20 Junos. His longtime songwriting partnership with Jim Vallance has yielded decades worth of studio albums beginning with his eponymous 1980 debut and including his 1983 breakout, Cuts Like a Knife (featuring the hits “Straight from the Heart” and “Cuts Like a Knife”), and best-selling 1984 album, Reckless (featuring the singles “Run to You,” “Heaven,” “Summer of ’69,” and his duet with Tina Turner, “It’s Only Love”). What’s especially impressive about Adams, though, is that a decade after his commercial breakthrough, he was still releasing hits like “Please Forgive Me” and “Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?” And we can’t forget his epic 1994 collaboration with Rod Stewart and Sting on the single “All for Love.” From his arena rockers to his rock ballads, Bryan Adams’ music is not only motion picture worthy, it is awesome on vinyl.
