    ZZ Top was formed in 1969, and has maintained the same lineup since formation. ZZ Top was a highly influential rock band who incorporated elements of blues, southern rock, hard rock, and later, would add a more danceable, synthesizer sound. They did very well in the 1970’s, but their fame exploded in the 1980’s with their Eliminator album.
