Sam Cooke, a gospel, R&B, soul and pop singer, is considered to be one of the pioneers and founders of soul music. In his career Sam Cooke had 29 top 40 hits between 1957 and 1954 with songs such as “Chain Gang,” “Wonderful World,” and “You Send Me.” Known as one of the first modern black performers and composers to deal with the business aspects of his career, Sam Cooke sounds amazing on vinyl.
