Toys in the Attic
Toys in the Attic was released in 1975 and remains Aerosmith’s second-most commercially successful album to date. The band’s third studio LP, it features the hits “Sweet Emotion” and “Walk This Way,” and its title track was included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll list. Undoubtedly a defining album for the band, Toys in the Attic marks the point where the Stones and Zeppelin influences became Aerosmith’s own instantly recognizable riffs and the moment when Steven Tyler embraced the art of double-entendre and innuendo wholeheartedly. A solid album through and through, Toys in the Attic remains an all-time fan favorite and a landmark ’70s hard-rock classic.
