    Slayer, a thrash metal rock band, is considered to be a leader in thrash metal with their initial debut in 1986 before thrash metal was even recognized. Their first album “Reign in Blood” has been called the heaviest album of all time and is considered to be one of the famous four thrash metal bands. With their fast guitar solos, shouting vocals and tremolo picking, Slayer has received three Grammy nominations and two Grammy award for “Eyes of the Insane” and “Final Six.” With a decidedly cult following, Slayer is popular both live and on vinyl.
