Sidney Bechet
As one of the first important soloists in jazz, Sidney Bechet was considered to be a music genius by some. He had a forceful delivery and an outstanding ability to write and play music that was almost unheard of before him. As a successful jazz saxophonist Sidney Bechet created a style all his own. Full of emotion the recording “New Orleans Feetwarmers” still evokes a lot of feeling when you listen to it on vinyl today.
