    Grandmaster Flash is a hip hop musician and famed DJ. As one of the pioneers of hip hop DJ’ing, Grandmaster Flash was a master of mixing and cutting. Forming his own group in the late 1970’s, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five went on to make 10 albums and one “Essential Mix” album. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five were the first hip hop/rap artists to be honored in this regard. With songs like “The Message” they sound great even today on vinyl.
