    Critically acclaimed rapper and actor, Ice-T, is credited with helping to start “gangsta rap.” His long career has spanned over 25 years starting with his first vinyl 12-inch singles that he put out when he was younger. His first official gangsta rap song “6 in the Mornin’” is considered a classic and was one of the first of that genre ever recorded. His 1991 album “OG: Original Gangster” is one of his most popular and landed him on the map as one of the best rappers of all time. Ice-T has won various Grammy Awards for his music which have turned into classic hip hop rap songs. When you hear them on vinyl you can understand why Ice-T is still so popular today.
