It is not every day that a band makes a comeback like this. Surprising everyone, Santana’s Supernatural sold over 27 million copies worldwide and won nine Grammys including Record and Album of the Year. This comes a record-breaking 28 years after Santana’s last number-one album, 1971’s Santana III. A throwback to early-’70s salsa-fusion Santana, “Smooth” topped the charts for months.
