S&M
S&M is a live double album released by heavy metal band Metallica. The album was recorded by Metallica with the San Francisco Symphony in April 1999 at Berkeley Community Theater. It contains a number of Metallica’s hits from “Ride The Lightning” to “ReLoad” along with two unreleased numbers, “No Leaf Cover” and “-Human”. The album was a huge commercial and critical success and earned the band a Grammy for best rock instrumental performance for the track “The Call of Ktulu”. The record peaked at #2 on the US charts and went on to become 6x platinum. The album is also the last to feature bassist Jason Newsted.
