Felix Mendelssohn
As a highly popular and influential classical composer of the Romantic era, Felix Mendelssohn was a German composer, pianist, and conductor that took the musical world by storm. He produced compositions for symphonies, oratorios, piano and chamber music as well as concerti. Although not as popular alive as dead, in the late 19th century Mendelssohn made a name for himself by being creative with his originality of classical music. “Opus 38, No. 4” is considered to be one of his best works now and is heard best on vinyl where you can really take in the urgency of his music.
