Victor Borge
Victor Borge was affectionately known as “The Clown Prince of Denmark” where he great up. Later on after moving to America knowing absolutely no English, he quickly picked up the American humor and became quite the comedian of his time after giving up his promising career as a pianist. He quickly rose to fame and won the Best New Radio Performer of the Year in 1942 and was offered film roles where he developed his trademark humor. Much of his comedy is combined with his love of classical music which you can hear on his album “Two Sides of Victor Borge” which sounds great on vinyl.
