    Let me tell you a secret. Elvis did not invent rock and roll. Bo Diddley did. Showing up on the scene, playing a mix of blues and a distinctive “percussive” sound are what would soon be called rock and roll. Bo Diddley was playing this music three years before people knew who Elvis was. (love to Elvis, he still made a huge contribution to music) Anyway, Bo Diddley is awesome. His style is very distinct, he has a very percussive guitar style. His lyrics are pretty enjoyable too. Check out these selections, and enjoy the sweet sounds of a legend on vinyl.
