A Chorus Line
When you put 17 Broadway dancers together and have them sing and dance, you could only have the musical known as A Chorus Line. A Chorus Line, the musical score, was written by famed composer Marvin Hamlisch and shows the auditioning process in a fun and uplifting way. Critically acclaimed, A Chorus Line also won nine Tony Awards and became the longest running production in Broadway history at the time. The musical numbers that sound the greatest on vinyl are “I Hope I Get It” and “Dance: Ten; Looks: Three” as well as so many others.
