    With founders such as Rodgers and Hammerstein, there was no question that Carousel, the musical was going to be famous. Originally opening on Broadway in 1945, Carousel ran for 890 performances and has since enjoyed award winning revivals. With musical hit numbers such as “If I Loved You” and “You’ll Never Walk Alone” Carousel was innovative and adored by fans. It was well regarded among the theater community and still is today in fact. Time Magazine even named it the best musical of the 20th century.
