Fats Domino
Fats Domino is a classic R&B and rock and roll singer as well as a rock and roll pianist. He attracted attention with his first album “The Fat Man” which was considered as the first rock and roll record to sell over a million copies. It was “Ain’t That a Shame” that first broke through the top 10 but he later had 37 top 40 hits. Bestowed with many awards Fats Domino was given a Lifetime Achievement Award by Offbeat Magazine and inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. Fats Domino recorded steadily until 1970 and many of his hit songs can still be heard on vinyl.
