White Zombie
Fronted by the horror film-loving Rob Zombie, White Zombie emerged from New York in the early ‘90s as a heavy metal band with danceable, industrial-rock grooves and B-movie imagery. They stood out from Seattle’s booming grunge scene, and songs like “Thunder Kiss ‘65” and “More Human than Human” became MTV and rock radio favorites. Though Rob would go solo in the later part of the decade and nu-metal bands would pick up where White Zombie left off, nothing tops the originals – especially on vinyl!
