    • King Crimson

    King Crimson was founded in 1969 by guitarist Robert Fripp, and are considered the pioneers of “progressive” rock. Progessive rock is said to blend elements of classical (and some jazz) with rock, often resulting in long, musically complex songs. King Crimson enjoyed a long career, with the occasional breakup mixed in. Over the course of their nearly 40-year career, King Crimson has released over a dozen albums, and won the admiration of such musical giants as Genesis and Yes, and even Nirvana. Due to the complexity of their music, vinyl is the only really serious choice for hearing King Crimson in all of their glory.
