The Byrds
The Byrds were a rock band that was hugely popular and influential in the late 60’s and early 70’s. They found a way to bring together the innovations and energy of the British invasion and the lyrical elements of contemporary folk music. They were pioneers of folk rock, space rock and jangle pop. Their trademark songs include “Mr. Tambourine Man,” “Turn! Turn! Turn!” and “Eight Miles High.” Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, this great music group really brings you back in time when you hear then sing on vinyl.
