    • The Band

    The Band was a rock band that first gained fame (before being called “The Band”), when playing backup for Bob Dylan in the mid 1960’s. They enjoyed a successful career in the 1960’s and early 1970’s, then broke up in 1976. They reformed in the early 1980’s with a different guitarist. While The Band was never a massive success amongst the public, they achieved much fame and regard from music critics and other musicians. They are truly a music lover’s band, and they can’t be beat on vinyl.
