Savoy Brown
Originally called the Savoy Brown Blues Band, this British group emerged in the late ’60s as part of the blues-rock movement. They had a larger following in the States than in the UK thanks to singles like “Train to Nowhere” and “I’m Tired,” as well as non-stop touring. Guitarist Kim Simmonds founded the band and has remained its only constant member over the years, with former members going on to play in Foghat, Fleetwood Mac, and other prominent UK groups. Despite frequent lineup changes, however, Savoy Brown has continued to release albums throughout the last four decades making it one of the longest-running bands of that era. Enjoy these British blues rockers on vinyl!
