    What’s the coolest thing about Joe Walsh? Yes, he was the Eagles’ guitarist for their landmark Hotel California album. Yes, he released a number of acclaimed solo albums in the ‘70s including 1978’s But Seriously, Folks… Yes, he wrote The Warriors theme song, “In the City.” Yes, he was a prolific session musician for the likes of B.B. King and Dan Fogelberg, and he was one of Ringo’s All Stars. Yes, he ran for President of the United States in 1980 and, as part of his mock campaign, promised to make his hit song “Life’s Been Good” the new national anthem. Clearly, there’s no underestimating the man’s many achievements. But the coolest thing about Joe Walsh has got to be how his music sounds on vinyl.
