Derek and the Dominos
Derek and the Dominos was a short lived rock band which included the famous guitar players Eric Clapton and Duane Allman. Their most famous song by far was “Layla”. Many consider Derek and The Dominos Eric Clapton’s greatest professional achievement. The band dissolved in 1971 with the death of Duane Allman, and various internal problems. While they were so short lived, Clapton’s music from this period is considered some of his best. Hear him and the legendary Duane Allman together on vinyl with these selections.
