Yellowcard
The SoCal via Jacksonville, Florida quintet Yellowcard achieved great success in the early ’00s with its signature violin-infused brand of pop-punk. Their 2003 major label debut, Ocean Avenue, was a mainstream explosion. Its singles “Way Away,” “Only One,” and the title track became MTV and radio favorites, earning Yellowcard a headlining slot on the 2004 Warped Tour. The band released two more albums on Capitol – Lights and Sounds in 2006 and Paper Walls in 2007 – before going on an indefinite hiatus. Re-energized, Yellowcard returns in 2011 with its seventh album, When You’re Through Thinking, Say Yes, released on the independent label Hopeless Records.
