Stereolab
Stereolab is responsible for some of the most innovative releases of the ‘90s. One of the first “post-rock” groups, the English band drew inspiration from ’70s Krautrock and experimented with everything from bossa nova and space-age lounge-pop to ‘50s and ‘60s easy listening. Stereolab’s motorik beats, vintage electronic keyboards, and Laetitia Sadier’s sing-song French and English vocals not only make the band distinct but especially transfixing on vinyl.
