    • Kings of Leon

    A band of three brothers and a cousin, Kings of Leon formed in Nashville in 1999. Starting out as a Southern-fried garage rock band, the Kings found initial success in the UK, and it wasn’t until they began exploring different sonic textures and adopting more of an alternative/arena-rock sound that they found commercial success in the States. And the album that ignited it all was 2008’s Only by the Night featuring the singles “Sex on Fire,” “Use Somebody,” and “Notion.” Listing everyone from Thin Lizzy to the Clash to the Stones to the Velvet Underground as influences, Kings of Leon are a dream on vinyl.
