Calexico

This Tucson, Arizona musical collective is one of the most unique bands on the indie landscape. Formed in 1996 by core members Joey Burns and John Convertino, Calexico takes its name from the border town of Calexico, California and fittingly has an eclectic identity that combines elements of mariachi, Tejano music, country, jazz, surf, and post-rock. The result is exquisite on vinyl.
